Case Study: Constellation Park

Constellation Park instead tells its story through form, color, and rhythm. United Signs had one goal for the project: to ensure the space was easy to move through and memorable to experience. Designing a wayfinding system that was environmentally durable, architecturally congruent, and quietly communicative was the balancing act undertaken.

Preliminary designs were site-mapped to include an understanding of light, people, and structure. Each element was purposeful; the choice of font, the angle of structures, and the selection of materials. Surprisingly, the Sign Collection was ready. The new signage gave a feeling of ‘native’ and ‘refined.’ The collection celebrated their understated crafted nature in the luxury flats and town homes.

Variable updatable signages maintain the area communicatively flexible. Wayfinding, event integration, and cultural activity signs are a testament to United Signs’ ability to blend architectural structures and elements. The signs unify and sustain the whole aesthetics of the space.

After measurement and implementation, the signs looked just perfect. The new look not just enhanced the overall appeal, but also made movement seamless and cohesive.

What used to be a set of distinct areas now operates as a unified space right at the heart of Constellation Park.

Constellation Park has become a visual landmark, the result of collaboration, accuracy, and a keen awareness of spatial arrangement. This project still influences the way people interact with public design, and the way thoughtful signages can integrate function and remembrance into a spatial context.
