Large Format Graphics
When the message needs to be big, the execution needs to be perfect.
Large-Format Graphics for Bold Impact
Large-format graphics work because size changes how people experience a message. From building facades to trade show floors, the right graphic does not just occupy a space. It transforms it. United Signs produces full-color, wide-span graphics for interior and exterior applications across vehicle wraps, retail environments, corporate spaces, and more. Everything is printed and finished in-house, which means color accuracy and output quality are controlled at every step. What gets designed is what gets installed.
We work across applications of every scale, from a single window decal on a retail storefront to a full building wrap spanning several stories. The substrate, the finish, and the installation method all depend on the surface and how long the graphic needs to perform. We work that out with you before production begins.
Print quality at large-format is unforgiving. Banding, color drift, and misregistration that go unnoticed at small sizes are obvious at 10 feet wide. We run color-managed workflows and in-house QC at every stage so the file you approve is the graphic that goes up, not an approximation of it.
Large-Format Graphic Types We Produce
Large-format printing covers a wide range of surfaces and applications. Here is what we produce and where each type is typically used.
Wall Murals and Environmental Graphics
Full-color printed graphics applied directly to interior or exterior walls. Used in corporate offices, retail environments, healthcare facilities, schools, and hospitality spaces to transform blank surfaces into branded or experiential environments. Printed on cast vinyl or fabric depending on the surface and the application.
Window Graphics and Perforated Vinyl
Applied to exterior glass for storefront branding, promotional messaging, or privacy screening. Perforated vinyl allows one-way visibility from the inside while displaying a full graphic on the exterior. Available in full coverage or partial application depending on the visual and functional requirements.
Vehicle Wraps
Full and partial wraps for cars, vans, trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. Cast vinyl is used for full wraps because it conforms to compound curves and recessed surfaces without lifting or distorting. Every wrap is printed and laminated in-house before installation.
Building Wraps and Facade Graphics
Large-span graphics applied to building exteriors for grand openings, event branding, construction site hoarding, or permanent brand installations. Mesh vinyl is used for large exterior applications to allow wind load and prevent billowing on tall structures.
Trade Show and Event Graphics
Retractable banners, tension fabric displays, foam board graphics, and large printed backdrops for conferences, trade shows, and branded events. Produced on tight timelines with materials specified for repeated setup and breakdown.
Floor Graphics
Non-slip laminated vinyl applied to floors in retail, healthcare, event, and wayfinding applications. Durable enough for high foot traffic when installed with the correct overlaminate and surface preparation.
Hoarding and Construction Graphics
Printed panels and wraps applied to construction site barriers, hoardings, and scaffolding. Used to maintain brand presence and site aesthetics during renovation or new development. A practical option for real estate developers and property managers.
Is Large Format Graphics Right for You?
Large-format graphics are versatile, but they are not the right solution for every situation. Here is a straightforward look at where they work and where a different approach might serve you better.
Large format graphics make sense if:
- You have a large blank surface, a wall, a window, a vehicle, a facade, or a floor, and you want it to carry your brand or a specific message. Large format is one of the most cost-effective ways to transform a space without permanent construction.
- You need to cover a lot of ground quickly. A full vehicle fleet wrap, a trade show booth, or a multi-location retail rollout can all be produced and installed within defined timelines in a way that painted or built signage cannot match.
- You have a time-limited campaign, a seasonal promotion, a grand opening, or an event where the graphic needs to go up fast and come down cleanly afterward.
- You are a property developer or building owner who needs to maintain a professional site presence during construction. Hoarding graphics and building wraps do that without permanent investment.
Large format graphics may not be the right fit if
- You need permanent exterior identification signage that will hold up for 10 or more years without maintenance. Dimensional letters, channel letters, or monument signs are built for that kind of longevity.
- Your surface is heavily textured, unpainted concrete, or a substrate that does not accept vinyl adhesion cleanly. We will assess the surface during consultation and tell you upfront if graphics are likely to hold.
- You need three-dimensional depth or illumination as part of the sign. Large format is a flat print medium. For applications that require dimension, material presence, or nighttime visibility from a distance, a different sign type will do more work.
Not sure if your surface or application is a fit? We will assess your space, your substrate, and what you need the graphic to do, and give you a straight answer before any design work begins.

Vibrant Colors
Every print holds its detail and accuracy no matter how large it gets.
Custom Designs
Designed from scratch for your brand, your space, and your vision.
Flexible Materials
We match the material to where the graphic lives and how long it needs to last.
What Goes Into Every Graphic We Produce
Material selection in large format printing determines how the graphic looks on day one and how it holds up over time.
Calendered Vinyl
A more economical option for flat surface applications with shorter lifespans. Used for indoor graphics, short-term promotions, and applications where the premium properties of cast vinyl are not required. Typically rated for 3 to 5 years on flat exterior surfaces.
Overlaminate Films
All exterior graphics receive a protective overlaminate that guards against UV degradation, abrasion, and moisture. Gloss, matte, and anti-graffiti laminates are available depending on the surface environment and aesthetic requirement.
Rigid Substrates
Foam board, Sintra PVC, aluminum composite, and corrugated plastic for mounted prints, hoarding panels, directional graphics, and temporary event signage. Substrate selection depends on whether the application is interior or exterior, how long it needs to last, and whether it needs to be lightweight for shipping.
How We Work
Consultation & Survey
We review your site, define your sign program, and map every location, size, and mounting spec before design begins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most flat and gently curved surfaces work well, including building facades, windows, vehicles, trade show displays, kiosks, and temporary structures. If you're unsure whether your surface qualifies, we'll assess it during consultation.
Yes. When removed professionally, graphics come off cleanly without damaging the surface underneath. This makes them a practical option for temporary campaigns, seasonal promotions, and leased vehicles.
Yes. Print and installation are handled by our own team, so there's no handoff between vendors and no gap in quality between what's printed and what goes up.
Start with a consultation. We'll review your space or application, understand what you need the graphic to do, and take it from there.
Yes. Our design team can work with your existing files or assist with preparation if your assets need adjusting before production.
We run color-managed workflows from the design file through to print output. Colors are profiled against your brand standards, Pantone references, or approved proofs before full production runs. This is the step most print vendors skip, and it is the reason large-format jobs come back looking different from what was approved on screen.
Simple projects like window graphics or retractable banners typically turn around in 5 to 7 business days after file approval. Vehicle wraps and wall murals run 1 to 2 weeks. Large building wraps or multi-location rollouts are scheduled in phases, and we give you a production timeline at the start so you can plan installation around it.
Yes. We manage large-format programs across multiple sites, including fleet wraps across vehicle pools and retail environmental graphics across dozens of locations. Consistent color and quality across every site is handled through our centralized production and in-house QC process.
