Genesis II was built specifically for the U.S. outdoor LED market. It didn't get there overnight, years of continuous development and thousands of real-world installations across the country shaped what it is today. Hot climates, coastal humidity, freezing winters, it has run through all of it. That track record is what makes it the benchmark for outdoor LED reliability, not just a claim on a spec sheet.
Brilliance with Backbones
Genesis II combines a rugged outdoor cabinet with features built for reliable LED display performance. It uses thermostatically controlled cooling fans, common cathode technology, gold wire bonding LEDs, and switch power supplies with at least 90% efficiency. The system also includes 1.6mm four-layer copper PCBs, silicone-sealed modules, IP65-rated protection, quick-release connectors, and safety cables. With a 3,840Hz refresh rate, high contrast, and SMD and DIP options, Genesis II is built to deliver clear visuals while supporting easier installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
One Cabinet, One Sign Face
Each Genesis II cabinet is a complete sign face. Power supply, signal distribution, and structure are all contained within a single aluminum enclosure. There's no separate back-end box to wire up and no complicated multi-component setup to manage. Mount the cabinet, connect it, and it runs. The same process applies whether it's a single pylon sign, a monument sign, or a large digital billboard.
Built for Daylight
Genesis II delivers a standard brightness of 6,000 nits or greater, with an ultra-high brightness option reaching 10,000 nits for 4mm pixel pitch and above. Its matte black surface and extended louver design help maintain vibrant, crisp images even under direct sunlight. A high-refresh driver IC provides smooth, flicker-free visuals designed to perform well for both viewers and cameras.
Optically-Optimized Mask & Louver
Genesis II features a matte black module mask with a textured surface that enhances image contrast and reduces glare. A unique extended louver (sun visor) design is implemented to effectively block direct sunlight from hitting the LEDs, further improving outdoor visibility. Even under intense sunlight, the screen remains vibrant and crystal-clear.
Reliable
Genesis II uses gold wire bonding LEDs and premium components, with 1.6mm four-layer PCBs using 1oz copper per square foot and silver-contained solder for reliable connections. Each module includes an integrated handle, safety cable bolt, alignment pin, and power and signal connectors with integrated redundant connections. Quick-release connectors and quick module removal help simplify maintenance, while the front-access design provides convenient servicing for installations where rear access is limited.
Durable
With module components sealed in silicone gel on both sides and critical systems enclosed in high-protection aluminum cabinets, Genesis II has proven its unmatched durability across thousands of installations, from scorching deserts to humid coastal environments. High-RPM cooling fans start working when the temperature hits 40°C/104°F, are adjustable via software, and continue running until the temperature drops to 35°C/95°F, following the United Signs smart thermostatic control system. As a critical device in the cabinet, the power supply is equipped with no cooling fans and thus will not draw in moisture and condensation, salt air, dust, or minerals that could corrode internal components, and its efficiency has reached or even exceeded 90%. All wiring connections are conducted via robust and watertight grips, grommets, or connectors.
Efficient Heat Management
For any electronic device, especially outdoor LED displays, heat and temperature are critical factors that affect stability and lifespan. Genesis II uses a heat management solution built around four elements working together: gold-wire LEDs with high electro-optical conversion efficiency, common-cathode energy-saving technology, a 4-layer PCB with thick copper foil and large thermal pads, and a high-efficiency power supply featuring a unique heat sink architecture. Its engineering approach focuses on minimizing internal heat generation at the source and conducting heat efficiently throughout the system. Genesis II also uses temperature-controlled high-speed fans that leverage efficient convection cooling, designed to meet the thermal demands of hot climates and extreme weather conditions.

Stay in complete control with an advanced monitoring and diagnostics system. Track the real-time status of power supplies, cooling fans, and LED modules, down to individual diodes. Receive instant alerts, troubleshoot issues, and upload configuration files remotely with ease. It's cloud-based, centralized, optional, and cost-effective.
Imperial Size
A 1'x1' module size is available to accommodate regional preferences in the U.S. and other countries that use imperial measurements. This gives installers a straightforward option when metric sizing isn't the standard.
Ultra-High Brightness, Contrast
Various LED types are available to meet the specialized requirements of ultra-high brightness and ultra-high contrast applications. This makes it easier to match the display to the lighting conditions of the venue.
Front, Side Ventilation
Front or side-vented cabinets can be specially designed to meet the unique demands of embedded installations. This flexibility helps the cabinet fit into spaces where standard venting isn't practical.
Rear-Access Cabinets
The standard Genesis II uses a front-access design to align with U.S. market preferences, but rear-access doors can also be configured for projects that require rear maintenance. This lets the setup adapt to how a venue is actually built.
Creative Designs
Cabinet dimensions and forms can be customized to support integration into creative installations, including angled, curved, and unconventional shapes suited for 3D forced perspective effects and immersive visual experiences. This makes it possible to fit the display into spaces that wouldn't work with a standard flat panel.
