Our production process covers every stage of fabrication, from raw material through final inspection, without relying on outside vendors. Here is what that includes: UL Listed Production Standards Our manufacturing processes meet and exceed Underwriters Laboratories' standards. Every illuminated sign we produce is UL listed, as required by most jurisdictions for permitted sign installations. In-Process and Final Quality Control Every sign is inspected before it leaves our facility, covering dimensional accuracy, finish quality, electrical function, and conformance to approved fabrication drawings. Field Instruction Documentation Every sign ships with field instruction documentation so installation crews have what they need on site, reducing errors and keeping installations on schedule. Service History Tracking We use a computer-driven system to track the service history of every sign we produce, giving clients and our field teams a documented record for maintenance, repairs, and future program updates. Production Capacity Management Our six company-owned facilities give us the ability to shift production capacity across locations to meet tight timelines. We confirm lead times before production begins and communicate proactively if anything affects the schedule. Sustainable Manufacturing United Signs was among the first sign manufacturers in the country to power a production facility with renewable solar energy. Our New Jersey facility operates on solar power, reducing the environmental impact of production without affecting output or quality.

Six Facilities, One Standard With six company-owned facilities across the United States, we have the capacity to handle large programs without sacrificing quality or lead time. Every facility operates to the same production standards, so the sign built in one location is identical to the one built in another.
